Cengage Learning Asia and American Society of
Training & Development (ASTD) Press today jointly announced that an agreement has
been reached whereby Cengage Learning Asia will represent American Society of
Training & Development in the Asia region namely Singapore, Brunei,
Malaysia, Thailand (including Indo-China - Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia), India
and the Indian Sub-continent (includes Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka),
Indonesia, Hong Kong (including Macau), South Korea, Taiwan, China, Mongolia,
Nepal, Japan, Philippines (including Oceania - Guam, Commonwealth of Northern
Marianas Islands (Saipan, Rota, Tinian),
Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, Pohnpei,
Yap, Marshall Islands, Majuro, Kwajalein, and
American Samoa) and Vietnam, with immediate effect. Both parties look forward
to working together to maximize the enhanced opportunities this agreement
brings. Cengage Learning delivers highly customized learning solutions for colleges, universities, instructors, students, libraries, government agencies, corporations and professionals around the world. These solutions are delivered through specialized content, applications and services that foster academic excellence and professional development, as well as provide measurable learning outcomes to its customers. The partnership with American Society of Training & Development (ASTD) Press would significantly expand the current suite of products that Cengage Learning Asia provides to its customer base in all the markets it serves. ASTD Press serves
the training and development field by providing relevant and timely
information related to workplace learning and performance. Key content areas
covered in the publishing program include training basics, needs assessment,
evaluation and return-on-investment (ROI), instructional systems development
