Cengage Learning Asia and World Scientific Publishing Company announce a joint partnership
Cengage Learning Asia, part of Cengage Learning, and World Scientific Publishing Company are pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement whereby, effective June 1, 2009, Cengage Learning Asia will exclusively represent World Scientific Publishing Company for its print books in selected Southeast Asia regions, and World Scientific Publishing Company will represent, non-exclusively, selected China-related publications by Cengage Learning Asia. The South East Asia regions to be exclusively represented by Cengage Learning Asia are Brunei, Thailand (including Indo-China), Philippines (including Oceania), Indonesia, and Vietnam. The agreement will include imprints under World Scientific Publishing Company, namely Imperial College Press, The Mathematical Society of Japan, and Atlantis Press. Both parties are delighted with this newly formed partnership and believe it will bring great opportunities to their respective companies, by allowing their publications to reach a wider audience by utilizing their mutual marketing and sales channels.
