Accompanying quizzes offer short reinforcement that asks the student to interact with the learning tool, then answer a few conceptual questions to check their understanding.

Homework: Exercises and problems from the readings are available as pre-built homework assignments, offering a mix of qualitative and quantitative problem solving questions. Many questions are algorithmic, providing an unlimited amount of practice or assignment variations throughout the semester. Every homework problem offers rich, detailed feedback as part of the solutions set so that students can see the correct steps for solving a problem.

Integrated directly within MindTap, students receive real-time feedback on their answers with contextual support directly from Office Online, system-generated Excel solution files, and video tutorials. Excel work is saved continuously in the cloud along with the assignment without cumbersome file downloads and uploads within MindTap – saving you considerable time manually reviewing and grading spreadsheets.

Adaptive Test Prep: This adaptive tool located in the app dock within MindTap allows students to create practice exams to ‘self-test’ their knowledge and preparedness of the chapter material. The app allows them to focus in on areas where they may need more study time, offering links back to readings and the opportunity to take unlimited attempts to improve their score.
