Jeffery Hampson has more than 25 years of experience teaching electrical trades students in TAFE and has taught at SkillsTech Australia (TAFE) in Queensland. This is backed by extensive industry experience. Jeff has worked as an electrical fitter/mechanic for more than 45 years in a diverse range of fields including marine, commercial, industrial and domestic installations. Jeffery is now retired.

Steven Hanssen is currently Head Teacher of Electrical Trades at North Sydney Institute of TAFE - Meadowbank. He originally acted as a technical reviewer for the text and has been contracted as co-author since the third edition.
