First published in 2009 and followed by subsequent editions in 2013 and 2019, Principles of Singapore Business Law continues in this fourth edition to provide an accessible and practical introduction to Singapore business law for students, businessmen, professionals and other lay readers. This edition provides a timely update of the law since the publication of the third edition, stating the law as at 1 May 2026. Consistent with the aims of the earlier editions, the book focuses on areas of law most relevant to business, with particular emphasis on the general principles of Singapore Contract Law alongside selected niche areas of business law. Written with the lay reader in mind, the text adopts plain language and employs pedagogical features such as tables, figures and mind maps to summarise and illustrate key concepts. Reflection boxes prompt readers to consider unsettled, evolving or controversial issues. Principles of Singapore Business Law is written for undergraduate students taking a course in business law.
